He has a quiet confidence with a touch of independence.
While to some that may sound a bit negative, it really is nice to have a pup who is comfortable enough in his own skin to chill without you while you are busy attending to other tasks.
I see no indications of this boy having separation anxiety which is another plus with our velcro dogs.
He prefers keeping tabs on me with regular check ins if we are in motion or will position himself in the grass where he can watch me if I'm still, over being part of the puppy mob out in the wide open.
He reminds me so much of his sire Jack in looks and temperament! I was concerned Jack was going to be a dull/boring dog due to his relaxed nature and now I appreciated his default settle immensely!
Denali is food motivated, so that makes training easy!
